Maha NGO Federation concludes Rajmata Jijau Award to 25 accomplished women in Maharashtra

Women from various city-districts including Solapur, Nagar, Satara, Akola, Wardha, Nashik, Buldhana, Bhandara, including Pune

Pune: 25 accomplished women from Maharashtra working for social, orphans, education, health, disabled along with senior citizens and cows were awarded Rajmata Jijau Award by the Maha NGO Federation.

Rajmata Jijau Award 2024 distribution ceremony was held in the Maheshwari Vidya Prachak Mandal auditorium in the model colony. This time senior social activist and secretary of Maheshwari Vidya Prachak Mandal Sushila Rathi, Maharashtra Goseva Commission President Shekhar Mundada, Swati Mundada, Senior Director of Federation Mukund Shinde, Ganesh Bakle, Amol Umbarje, Yogesh Bajaj, Rahul Jagtap etc were present. Sushila Rathi said, women never give up in front of any situation. Women are always working with patience. Women are working at large in social institutions in Maharashtra, it is commendable. She also expressed the hope that every woman should get the marks of Rajmata Jijau.

Swati Mundada analysis in her mind on how women’s work is going globally and women’s importance is more in society. Shekhar Mundada said, there are women working in different sectors of the society, but only typical women are awarded. So, the women working in the bottom were honored by the Maha NGO Federation. We must stand firm behind women working for mother cow with deprived and needy factors in society. Responding to the award. Sindhutai Sapkal’s daughter Mamata Sapkal said, Rajmata Jijau gave sacrament to her Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Jijau taught to keep a vision of motherhood while looking at any woman. We work for mother-daughter and cow-wasru. The work of continuing the work of Mai means Sindhutai is going on with the support of the community.
